Tigers schedule boys hoops camp

Boys basketball camps are scheduled at Troup High School for incoming grades first through fifth, and then sixth through ninth.

Registration is now under way for the June 4-8 camps.

The first through fifth graders will receive instruction from Troup High school coaches in the morning from 9 until noon. The sixth through ninth graders will take the court from 1-4 p.m.

Cost for the week-long camp is $30; parents with more than one child pay $20 for the second child.

Both age-division camps will meet at the high school gym, where concessions will be available during camp hours.

Participants can also register the first day of the camp, beginning at 8:15 a.m. for the first through fifth graders, and 12:15 p.m. for the sixth through ninth graders. Drawings for prizes will also be held at this time.
