Drug dealer's loss: PD's gain

Recently, the Whitehouse police department responded to a call from a resident concerned about a bag of drug paraphernalia they had found.

Chief Rick Waller said it was possible the items were discarded from a vehicle when its occupants saw a police cruiser in the area.

The leather zippered bag contained digital scales, approximately 65 grams of marijuana, a quantity of prescription drugs, a grinder, two glass smoking pipes, other assorted narcotic paraphernalia and a Bob Marley t-shirt.

Chief Waller has this message for the owner of the recovered property, "The police department is sorry for your loss and we urge you to drop by the police department located at 101-B Bascom Road here in Whitehouse and claim your property."

The investigation into the property owner's identity continues.
