Dorlos Lambright

MONTALBA - Graveside services for Dorlos Lambright, 79, of Montalba were held May 24 at Carroll Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Stroud officiating under direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.

Mr. Lambright died May 21, 2007 at a Palestine hospice. He was born Aug. 22, 1927 in Carroll Springs to the late Tom Archie and Leether Virginia Hanks Lambright. He was an Army paratrooper during World War II and retired as a technician from Western Union. He was a member of Carroll Springs Methodist Church, and was preceded in death by brothers, Orbie Lambright and Dorman Lambright.

Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Lambright, Bradford; daughters, Debbie Jenkins, New Chapel Hill, and Anita Robinson, Dew; sons, Michael Lambright, Whitehouse, and Leland Lambright, New Chapel Hill; brothers, Hassell Lambright, Palestine, and Lester Lambright, Summerton, S.C.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
