Harrison inks with Lon Morris
"I just feel so comfortable out there, and I love how it feels out on the mound," said Harrison, who helped lead the Troup Tigers to a 26-7 record, earning District 21-AA MVP. The future coach, who hopes to get a degree in math, notched another accolade when he was chosen to play in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association' All Star Game, set June 16 in Round Rock. "It's a great honor. I'm a little nervous. I just want to go out and have fun and see what happens," said Harrison. Players must be nominated by their district and selected by a cfommittee of coaches based on current season and career stats, said Troup head coach Cal Sparks. |
