WJHS athletes earn honors

Whitehouse Junior High School gave out athletic awards Wednesday, May 23. Awards given to male athletes included:

3D AWARD (Desire, Dedication & Determination) - Preston Conder and Simon Webb

MAROON HEART AWARD (given to an athlete who toughed it out all year) - Matt Durst and Curtis Keller

MOST IMPROVED ATHLETE - Blake Bevill and Stephen Chavez

SPORTSMANSHIP - Jacob Gardner and Scott Sanders

ACADEMIC AWARD - James Moran

ALL AROUND ATHLETE (three sports) - Quincy Aldridge and Conner Cashion.

SPORTSMANSHIP - Amber Dowdy and Krystal Gordon

TEAM SPIRIT - Kayte Frye
