Service project full of fun

Members of the Wildcat soccer squad enjoy a day in the park with first-graders from Cain Elementary. The high-schoolers faced off against their younger opponents and then later prepared and served hot dogs.

The Wildcat Soccer team was looking for a service project. Who knew it would be so much fun?

A few pick up games of soccer and some hot dogs made for a great ending to a first grade field trip day for Ms. Alexander, Ms. Stinchfield, Ms. Whitman and Ms. Ministrelli's classes.

Ms. Stinchfield said that Coach Chris Clemons always wants his players to invest time back into the community. Spending the afternoon with energetic first graders and cooking hot dogs for them at the Whitehouse City Park just fit the bill.
