Margaret Fay Morriss

Services for Margaret Fay Morriss, 86, of Chandler, were held June 5 in Burks Walker Tippit Funeral chapel with Rev. Eric Peyton officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit.

Mrs. Morriss died June 2, 2007, in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 17, 1920, in Troup to the late Perry D. and Eula M. Pearson.

She was a member of West Lake Baptist Church. She and her husband founded United Rent-All in 1962.

Mrs. Morriss was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Morriss, and a brother, John Henry Pearson.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Donna Morriss of Whitehouse; daughter and son-in-law, Cherie and Ron Rang of Brownsboro; sister-in-law, Jean Pearson Chatham of San Antonio; grandchildren, Julie Rang of N. Richland Hills, Shaun Rang of Walnut Creek, Calif., Jeffrey Rang of Honolulu, Hawaii, Lori Butcher of Dallas, and Logan Morriss of Whitehouse; also six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jose Feliciano, Tom Denmon, James Gee, Don Hardy, Ed Herring and Alan Honeycutt.
