Walton, Cates marry

Mrs. Kyle William Cates

Dana Marie Walton of Whitehouse and Kyle William Cates of Longview were married Friday at the Villa di Felicita. Officiant was Steve Wilson of Shreveport, La.

The bride, daughter of Bob and Patty Walton of Whitehouse, is a graduate of Texas Tech University and Whitehouse High School. She is a loan officer in Tyler.

The bridegroom, son of David and Carleta Cates of Whitehouse, attended Texas Tech University and is a graduate of Pine Tree High School. He is an insurance agent in Tyler.

Maid of Honor was Katherine Farr of Lubbock. Best men were Jordan Wilson of Shreveport, La. and Carl Cates of Vail, Colo.

Bridesmaids were Paige Shafer of Whitehouse, Monica Carman of Bedford, Jacqueline Walton of McKinney and Stephanie Savala of Lubbock.

Groomsmen were Clay Psencik of Miami, Fla, Bobby Walton of McKinney and Aaron Milligan of Lubbock.

Ushers were Trent Bussey of Austin, Blake Tucker of Longview and Chad Wilborn of Lubbock.

Flower girls were Ashley Thompson and Kaitlyn Thompson of Whitehouse. Following the couple's honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, they will reside in Flint.
