WHITEHOUSE COMMUNITY LIBRARY NOTES Internet Computers There is no charge to use any of the six Internet computers but be sure you've filled out an internet form so you'll know the rules. (If you don't know if you've signed one, ask at the desk.) Every time you come in, sign in at the desk before you begin & you are set to go! The only time there is a time limit is if someone is waiting for a computer. There is a charge of 10 cents a page for black and white or 25 cents a page for color printing (Ask at the desk to learn how to print in color.) The printer is behind the desk- be sure to only press print one time or you'll get multiple prints and be charged for them. If you print a page, even if there is only one or two things on the page, you'll still need to pay for it because we have to pay for the paper and ink. Wireless: Yes we have it, but the first time you use it the director will have to put in a password for you. New Book Drop In case you haven't noticed our old blue drop box by the curb is no longer in use. We have a new book drop that is located on the wheelchair ramp as you are coming into the building. What's so wonderful about this (besides the fact the workers no longer have to go outside in all kinds of weather) is the fact you can now put anything in the book drop. This includes DVDs, VHS tapes, books on tape and CD. DVDs, VHS tapes and music CDs What do all these have in common? You can check these out at the Library at no cost (unless you're late). We have numerous DVDs & VHS that check out for three days ($1 a day per movie if you are late) A large selection of music CDs is also available.
