The Quilter's Guild of East Texas will meet Thursday, June 14 at 10 a.m. at the TASCA building 3402 Old Omen Rd., in Tyler.

Golf tournament Friday

The Roy Lawrence Memorial Golf Tournament is Friday, June 15 at Eagle's Bluff Country Club in Bullard. Registration is at 11:30 with lunch at 12:30 and tee time at 1:30. For more information contact Steve Emmons at 903-245-0074.

YesterYear Coronation and Ball set

All of the royals and their courts will be presented and celebrated at the annual YesterYear Coronation and Ball set for Saturday, June 16 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Whitehouse High School. Tickets are $10 each and available for purchase from Suzanne at the Tri County Leader and other locations throughout the city of Whitehouse.

Mr. and Mrs. YesterYear honored with tea

Clarence and Girthal Miller will be honored with a tea on Sunday, June 17 from 2-4 p.m. in the Commons area of Whitehouse High School. The public is invited to attend.

Vietnam Veterans of America to meet

Vietnam Veterans of America, Tyler Chapter, will meet Thursday, June 21 at Traditions at 7 p.m. All veterans are invited to attend. For info, call Robbie at 903-876-4935.

Whitehouse Recycle Center hours

The Whitehouse Recycle Center is open every Wednesday 7-10 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. as well as the first and third Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Bring your recyclable paper, newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans and tin cans. The Recycle Center is located on Railroad Ave.

Whitehouse library activities

The Whitehouse Library offers these activities: Story time is on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and scrapbooking nights are the third Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Come visit the library!

Weight loss support group meets Mondays

The Eat Right For Life Support Group meets every Monday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Regions Bank in Whitehouse (across from the Post Office). Meetings are free. For more information, call 903-839-7634.

Troup American Legion hosts karaoke

Troup American Legion Post 418 has karaoke every Saturday night from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

SpongeBob Squarepants visits Whitehouse

Faith Conference on tap next week

Bethany Word of Life Tabernacle, 6808 Paluxy Drive in Tyler, will host its annual Faith Conference, Thursday, June 21 - Saturday, June 23. Day services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Evening services on Friday are scheduled for 7 p.m. and the Saturday evening service time can be obtained by calling the church at 903-534-0094.
