Football Camps Held
     Whitehouse football coaches followed the Air It Out camp for quarterbacks and receivers with a week-long period of drills for 57 incoming seventh and eighth graders. An August camp is scheduled for incoming freshmen.

     Coach Wally Dawkins and staff hosted a morning camp for grades pre-K through third last week. Workouts emphasized offensive skills and featured 5 on 5 team play. Camps are under way this week for fourth-sixth and fifth-eighth grades.

Hilltop reports Tuesday's senior scramble results
      The first-place team shot a 7-under par to win Tuesday's senior scramble at Hilltop Country Club in Troup. Gerald Shields, Jack Hardy, Billy Cooper and Jack Harris triumphed, with second-place finishers Brad Hall, Morris Turner and Jack Gowen also recording a 7-under par score.
