YESTERYEAR PARADE
Get on board for parade fun
WHEN:10 a.m. Saturday, June 23 WHERE:Begins at junior high and travels south Hwy. 110, turning left on FM 346, left on Bascom Road and then left onto street north of library

Children of all ages enjoy the annual YesterYear Parade. Whether riding on a float or watching from the crowd, the sights and sounds will fill the air Saturday, June 23, beginning at 10 a.m. The float above from the 2006 parade holds Lady and Grand Duchess Hope Godwin and her court.
Led by the Whitehouse Volunteer Fire Department, the YesterYear Parade kicks off 10 a.m. Saturday. The parade line-up features fun for all ages, as the YesterYear princess, ladies in waiting and courts will be on hand in regal floats, as well as an assortment of other vehicles, animals and colorful attractions.

Anyone wanting to be in the Whitehouse YesterYear Parade needs to be at the junior high at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23rd. All floats and participants will meet at the front parking lot to be lined up so the parade can begin at 10 a.m. Anyone needing to drop off someone needs to come through theAdministration parking lot and

Participants may be picked up behind the park or they can stay for the many activities that will be going on at the park. No candy will be thrown this year but it may be handed out. Anyone needing more information can contact Kurt Kunzman at 903-839-3118 and leave a message.
