Car, truck, bike show debuts A major addition to the YesterYear festivities this year will be the Charity Car-Truck and Bike Show sponsored by the Whitehouse Range Riders motorcycle club on Saturday, June 23. Vendors and vehicles will set up on the north side of Whitehouse City Park on Saturday morning prior to the 10 a.m. parade start. The park is located at the corner of FM 346 and FM 848. Event organizer Stephanie Muller said area merchants have been more than generous with their contribution of prizes and support. There will be trophies and prizes for participants. The Tyler Rose himself, Earl Campbell is scheduled to make an appearance. The Heismann trophy winner will be there to sign autographs for the kids and they hope to have an autographed football in the raffle as well. Also featured during the show will be a visit from the Division 3 NJCAA World Series Champion Tyler Junior College Apaches. They have signed baseballs and a bat to be raffled later in the afternoon. Along with other great prizes is a turbo 350 transmission at a value of $1,300 being donated by Brad's Transmission of Whitehouse. There are two raffles. The first is for the transmission. Those tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The second is for all remaining prizes at a cost of $1 each or six for $5.
