Angelene Lewellen

Graveside services for Angelene Lewellen, 91, of Graham, former resident of Troup, were held June 15 at the Pinecrest cemetery with Brother Ka'Sime Davenport officiating under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mrs. Lewellen died June 12, 2007 in a nursing home in Graham. She was born April 5, 1916 to the late Edmond Lee and Allie Mae Smith Carpenter in Troy. She married Theodore E. Graham August 15, 1937 in Troy. She moved to Troup in 1949 from Kilgore and lived in Troup most of her adult life where she was a housewife and member of the Troup Church Of Christ.

Mrs. Lewellen was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Theodore E. Lewellen, Sr., on December 3, 1997. She was also preceded by five sisters, Thelma Carson, Mary Scott, Virna Kemp, Prisillia An Garrett, and Cora Griffin.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Sandra Lewellen of Graford; two granddaughters, Sandy Hughes of Denton and Susan Ragsdale of Frisco; and six great grand children.
