Lindseys celebrate 50 years together

Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lindsey

Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lindsey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family on Saturday, May 26 with a reception hosted by their children at the First Baptist Church, Mixon.

Curtis Lindsey married the former Susie Mae Cooper on May 25, 1957 at the First Baptist Church of Mixon, where they have been members for the majority of that 50 years. Mr. Lindsey is a retired self-employed businessman. Mrs. Lindsey is a retired teacher, having taught in Whitehouse, Chapel Hill and Troup.

Their children and their spouses are Preston and Kelli Lindsey, Keith and Barbara Lindsey, and Kent and Lissa Lindsey, all of Troup. They also have eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
