Troup's 911 service restored

Troup and Bullard residents were without 911 phone service for a while on Friday of last week.

According to Gene Cottle, chairman of the 911 board, the problem arose when a software change was made. No physical lines were cut.

The issue was solved and service was restored by 10:30 p.m. the same day
