Betty Ivy Ducksworth

Memorial services for Betty Ivy Ducksworth, 61, of Whitehouse were held June 26 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Burial was in Whitehouse Cemetery under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.

Mrs. Ducksworth died June 21, 2007 in Tyler. She was born Dec. 25, 1945, in Hemphill to the late Forest and Margie Causey Coats. She grew up in Whitehouse and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Ivy. Survivors include sons, Sydney Thornton, Carthage and Ron Ivy, Whitehouse; and daughters, Sonya Bingle, Stamps, Ark., Sally Heath of Meridian, Miss., and Lisa Ivy, Whitehouse; brother, Forest Coats, Whitehouse; sister, Linda Rutter, Bullard; and 14 grandchildren.
