Jacquelyn Martin Foster

Graveside services for Jacquelyn Martin Foster, 79, of Garland, formerly of Troup, were held June 26 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup, with the Rev. Ben Read officiating under direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Memorial services were held June 27 at Axe Memorial United Methodist Church of Garland with the Rev. Ben Read officiating. Mrs. Foster died June 21, 2007 in Garland.

She was born Feb. 15, 1928 in Troup to the late William Lewis and Mary Etta Hampton Martin. She was named Miss Tyler in 1948 by Paramount Pictures, and retired from AT&T Technologies. She was a member of Axe Memorial United Methodist Church and Pacesetters Class, a longtime volunteer at Baylor Medical Center in Garland and a member of Lady Elks and the "71 Steppers" dance group.

Survivors include her husband, Julian Foster, Garland; daughters, Jeri Boring, Garland, and Nanci Stone Neynaber, Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other relatives.
