Hearons celebrate 50th anniversary
Jerry Lee Hearon and Lois Jean Nobles were married June 24, 1957 in Texarkana, Texas. The Hearons have resided in Whitehouse for most of their 50 years of marriage. They lived in Jacksonville for a short period of time when first married. Jerry is the owner of Jerry's Radiator Shop in Whitehouse. For 18 years, Jerry worked for Tyler Radiator Shop in Tyler until opening his own radiator business in 1978. Lois retired two years ago from Carrier Air Conditioning/United Technologies after 35 years of service. Jerry loves his hobby working with classic cars. His 1961 Chevrolet Impala (Bubble Top) was recently awarded the "Best in Show" at the Jacksonville Tomato Festival and "Sheriff's Choice" at the Rally on the Square in Frankston. Lois is really enjoying her retirement. She has time to work with many aspects of Gateway Baptist Church including the recent Vacation Bible School. Most of all they love and enjoy their family, including the newest addition just arriving on May 31, second great-granddaughter, Libby Baker. The Hearons' children are Sherrie Alexander and husband Bob of Brownsboro and Karen Hill and husband Stuart of Whitehouse. They have one grandchild, Angie Baker and husband Jason of Murchison. Their first great-granddaughter is Maddi Baker of Murchison. |
