WORLD SERIES BOUND
The East Texas Aggies will take part in the World Series July 7-15 in Broken Arrow, Okla. The team of 13-year-olds placed second in the SuperSeries Super Regional Tournament to qualify for the World Series. Players on the team are from the Whitehouse-Troup area and include Hayden Stanley, Nathan Wood, Melvin Moorman, Chandlor Vance, Raymond Cozby, Zach Thompson, Jarrid Garcia, Cannon Woods, Jared Dickey, Matt Solomon, Austin Ramirez and Travis Yanker. Fred Stanley is manager, Rodney Vance is head coach and Jeff Wood is assistant coach. In order to raise funds for their trip, the team will be at the Brookshire's in Whitehouse Thursday, June 28, from 9 a.m. to noon and the Brookshire's on Rice Road 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 30.
