Memorial planned for food pantry organizer

Friends will gather Monday, July 10 at 10 a.m. at the Philadelphia Blessing building in Whitehouse to celebrate the life and mourn the passing of Frances Green. Mrs. Green took over operation of the food pantry after the retirement of Emogene Miller when it was located on South Broadway in Tyler. See obituary on page 2.

Ray Baldwin of Tyler Metro Church said that Frances had such a heart and soul for caring for the needy. "She fed literally thousands and thousands of people during her time at Philadelphia Blessing," he said.
