William "Eddie" Kinsley

Memorial services for William "Eddie" Kinsley, 76, of Whitehouse were held July 2 at Stewart Family Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Walter Jones officiating. Mr. Kinsley died June 30, 2007 in a Tyler hospital.

He was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Sterling City to the late William Edward and Mary Blair Kinsley. He grew up in West Texas prior to moving to East Texas where he lived most of his life. He was a truck driver in the grocery industry. He was preceded in death by brothers Buddy Kinsley and John Kinsley and sister Betty Berry.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Vivian Kinsley, Whitehouse; daughters, Sherry LaPeyre, Troup, Janet DeVillers, Washington State, Mechelle Lang, Flint, and Alicia Ford, North Highland Hills; son, Bobby Smithson, Tyler; brothers, Dan Kinsley and Bob Kinsley, both of San Angelo, and Ladd Kinsley, Denton; and nine grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers were Ladd Kinsley, Bob Kinsley, Dan Kinsley, Bill Raye, Floyd Raye and James Felts.
