Frances Knight-Green
Private graveside services for Frances Knight-Green, 80, of Tyler were on June 30 at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas. Arrangements were with Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.

She was born Jan. 11, 1927 in Oatman, Ariz. She moved to Troup at a very early age and graduated from Troup High School. She married and moved to Dallas to pursue a banking career. In 1980, she returned to her East Texas roots where she retired and spent her remaining days until her death on June 26, 2007, after a sudden unexpected illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, O.W. and Myrtle Knight; daughter, Ruth Edna McDaniel of Troup; brothers, Harry Knight of California, Joe Knight of Dallas, L.G. Knight of Dallas, Dean Knight of Dallas, and twin brothers, Herman and Thurman Knight of Troup; and sister, Edna Howard of Troup.

Survivors include her husband, O.W. Green of Tyler; sons, Donald McDaniel and wife Cindy of Fort Worth, Earle McDaniel of Tyler; daughter, Debbie Harris of Denver, Colo.; brother, James M. Knight of Dallas; sister, Myrl Taylor of Lindale; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and 22 nieces and nephews.

She has enriched and touched each one of us and we are blessed for having her in our lives.
