UMC concerts continue Sunday with Thunder

First United Methodist Church in Troup will be filled with the sounds of Christian hiphop Sunday, thanks to Thunder, a 23-year-old New Boston native who works with a Christian youth camp in Lindale.

"With his lyrical sound, he brings the sting of secular reality with the message of the savior Jesus Christ," said UMC member Shelly Wilson.

Thunder's appearance is the latest in the church's "Something More" concert series, featuring a diverse group of artists.
