Milton Anderson

Services for Milton Anderson, 79, of Troup were held July 10 at Liberty Baptist Church of Troup with the Revs. Dewayne McAllister, Harvel Davis, Bobby Land and Billy P. Cleaver officiating.

Burial was in Liberty Cemetery, Troup, under direction of Hampton Rollins Funeral Home, Troup.

Mr. Anderson died July 5, 2007, in Tyler. He was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Smith County to the late Blummer and Ida Anderson. He served in the Armed Forces during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mercie Anderson, Troup; sons, Lawerence Stanford, Longview, and James Stanford, Troup; daughters, Annie M. Ware, Longview, and Shelia Kincade, Fort Worth; and other relatives.

Pallbearers were Richard Pleasant, Larry Pleasant, Edward Pleasant, Jerry Jackson and Vernon Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers were Roy Taylor, James Wade and Boyd Bradford.
