Engaged
The engagement of Suni Kay Bateman of Arp and Darrell Whittaker of New Chapel Hill has been announced. Suni Kay Bateman is the daughter of Van Bateman and Nancy Bateman of Arp. She is a graduate of Arp High School and holds a real estate license. She is employed as office manager at Lyles Ropes in Arp. Darrell is the son of Henry and Hazel Fallaw of Tyler. He is a graduate of Las Vegas High School in Nevada and is employed by B&D Electric of Longview. He is a journeyman electrician. The wedding is scheduled for Nov. 3 at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville.
