Tyler sets bike ride

The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is offering a 10-mile bike ride beginning at Faulkner Park on July 21.

The ride will begin on the bike/walking trail at Faulkner Park, 410 W. Cumberland Road. Pre-registration is preferred, but riders can register the day of the event. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m., with the ride scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Simpson Fitness & Adventure Sports will lead the pack.

The ride is for ages 16 and older. Participants must have their own helmets. Release forms must be signed prior to the ride. Cost is $10 per person with proceeds benefiting Tyler Parks & Recreation programs. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 participants to register.
