Charles Roy "Ricky" Jones

RUSK - Services for Charles Roy "Ricky" Jones, 56, of Rusk were held July 15 at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Rusk, with the Rev. Don Copeland officiating.

Burial was in Salem Cemetery.

Mr. Jones died July 12, 2007 in a Jacksonville hospital. He was born March 28, 1951, in Rusk, and lived most of his life in Rusk. He also lived in Winnsboro for 14 years. He served in the Army, was a Baptist and a member of Rusk Euclid Masonic Lodge No. 45 AF&AM.

Survivors include son, Royce Jones, Troup; parents, Charles E. and Maxine Jones, Rusk; brother, Ronnie Jones, Rusk; three grandchildren; two nephews; and other relatives.

Pallbearers were David Westbrook, Chris Holman, Jackie Simpson, Dean Simpson, Darrell Wallace and Dale Wallace.
