Hargis, Dahlgren exchange vows July 21

Julia Marie Hargis and Mark Richard Dahlgren exchanged wedding vows on July 21, 2007 at First Presbyterian Church of Tyler. Rev. Dr. Stuart Baskin officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith D. McCullough of Whitehouse. She is a graduate of Whitehouse High School and Texas A&M University. She is a teacher and cheerleading coach at Jacksonville High School.

The groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Richard R. Dahlgren. He is a graduate of Boling High School High School, The University of Texas at Tyler and Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a teacher at Chapel Hill High School.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a two piece white designer gown by Maggie Sottero with matching finger tip veil as well as a pearl bracelet that belonged to her greatgrandmother. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and pink calla lilies.

Maids of honor were Kennedy Hunter of Whitehouse, Bethany McCullough of Las Colinas and Kelly McCullough of Dallas, all sisters of the bride. Bridesmaid was Lori Cain of Flower Mound.

Bryan Basse of Rusk served as best man. Groomsmen were Roger Norrie of Enid, Okla., brother-in-law of the groom, Garrett Hargis of San Angelo, brother of the bride and Raymond Hunter of College Station, brother of the bride.

Junior bridesmaids were Emily and Abigail Dahlgren of Whitehouse, daughters of the groom. Junior groomsman was Luke Dahlgren of Whitehouse, son of the groom.

Cecily Basse ser ved as flower girl and Jarrett Basse served as ringbearer.

Serving in the house party were Lauren Avery of Denton, cousin of the bride, Elizabeth and Erin Norrie of Enid, Okla., nieces of the groom.

Musicians were Donald Duncan and Mark Johnson both of Tyler.

A reception at the Woman's Building followed the ceremony with music provided by Robin Butt of Boogie Butt Productions of Jacksonville.

Decorations and flowers were provided by Suzy Coke of Frankston.

The couple will reside in Whitehouse following their honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen.
