Chelsey A. Kelley and Jamey L. Whitley exchanged wedding vows on July 7, 2007 at Colonial Hills Baptist Church. Robert Carter officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Van Kelley, Jr. She is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and Tyler Junior College. She is employed by Dr. Ty Black. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Battles and Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Roy, all of Tyler and Mr. and Mrs. Van Kelley Sr. of Nacogdoches.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Denny Whitley. He is a graduate of Whitehouse High School and Tyler Junior College. He is attending the University of Texas at Tyler and employed at KH Fitness Tyler. The groom's grandparents are Mrs. Reba Bell and the late Mr. Lawrence Bell of Clarksville and the late Mrs. Melodese Whitley of Honey Grove.
Matrons of honor included Rebekah Huckabee and Amanda Wiseman, sisters of the bride. The bridesmaids were Heather Jacobs, Jeanet Bradley and Laura Hartley, all of Tyler.
Brothers of the groom Randy Allen of Hobbs, NM and Steve Whitley of Athens served as best men. Groomsmen were friends of the groom Kevan Kirksey of Abilene and Justin Jenkins of College Station. Honorary groomsman was Josh Wilson of Stuart, Fla.
Ushers were Jay Huckabee and Shaun Wiseman, brothersin law of bride, both of Tyler. The flower girl was Kearston Bradley, friend of the bride, of Tyler. Cousin of the groom Damian Davidson of Bogata served as ring bearer.
Musicians for the wedding were Brass Quintet Jim Clifton, Joe Hewitt, Heather Mensch, Tom Mensch and Michael Oglesby and vocalist Tony Black.
A reception in the church parlor followed the ceremony.
The couple will reside in Tyler following their honeymoon in Orlando, Fla.
