Loftin, Hancock wed
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Jo Ann Loftin of Whitehouse. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Gee of Chandler, the late Janet Gee, Mrs. Betty Loftin of Jacksonville and the late Carl Loftin. She is a 2003 graduate of Whitehouse High School, a 2005 graduate of Paris Junior College and attends the University of Texas at Tyler. The bridegroom is the son of Mitchell and Lisa Hignight of Paris. He is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Vandergriff of Paris, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hancock of Kennett, Missouri, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Powell of Powderly and the late Buddy Hignight. He is a 2004 graduate of North Lamar High School, a 2006 graduate of Tyler Junior College, and attends the University of Texas at Tyler. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an elegant white satin corset gown. The satin corset bodice is adorned with beaded metallic lace which complements the full tulle pickup skirt. The dress was accented with beaded metallic lace throughout the pickups and along the chapel length train. Sarah Zan of Bremond served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Peters of Shreveport, Ashley McElroy of Elkhart, and Lariann Riggins of Whitehouse. Cole Hignight of Paris, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Hancock of Paris, uncle of the bridegroom, Neil Christian of Waco, and Randall Loftin of Whitehouse, brother of the bride. Ushers were Kendall Fox of Carrolton, Greg Johnson of Waco and Scott Henton of Whitehouse. Stacy Ward of Longview, sister of the bride, and Chelsey McElmore of Vallient, Okla., served as the house party. Musicians for the wedding included Randy Akin of Longview and Kendall Fox of Carrollton. A reception and dance at Rivercreek Farm and Ranch followed the ceremony. The couple will reside in Tyler following a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas. |
