Apache Belles reunion
Former members invited to perform

The Whitehouse Braves recently finished third out of the 13-team field in the TTBA Senior Midget State Championship held in Brownwood. The Braves were undefeated in district competition and went 5-2 in the state tournament. They finished the season with an overall record of 23-3. Team members are, left to right, (front) Bubba Tumulak, (second row) Jordan Hortman, Nic Costlow, Jordan Mims, Bryce Moss, Grant Burrage, Grant Herrington, Logan Barker, Brendon Spriggs, Parker Hall, (third row) Colby Watson and Kyle Webb. All Tyler Junior College Apache Belle Alumni are invited to perform in the 60th Anniversary Halftime Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 29.

But first, everyone must learn the choreography to be a part of this historic event at one of the four Regional Rehearsals. The choreography will be taught in Dallas, Houston and Austin on Sunday, Aug. 5 from 4-7 p.m.

In Dallas it will be taught at Flower Mound High School, 3411 Peters Colony in Flower Mound. In Houston the dance clinic will be at Aleif Taylor High School, 7555 Howell Sugar Land Dr. The Austin clinic will be at Smithson Valley High School, 14001 Hwy. 46 West in Spring Branch. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

The Whitehouse Predators 12-and-under softball team recently won the Texas Teenage Fastpitch District Tournament held in Chandler the week of July 2. With this win they qualified to participate in the Texas Teenage State Championship Tournament in Rockdale. The tournament was held the week of July 16 and the Whitehouse Predators placed fifth out of 18 teams. They wish to thank all of their sponsors and everyone who gave to the team's state fundraising effort. The Tyler rehearsal will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Sept. 2 at the Apache Belle Dance Studio located in the Ornelas HPE Center on the Tyler Junior College campus. Anyone who cannot attend a rehearsal on Aug. 5 is invited to the Tyler rehearsal.

All Apache Belle Gold who attend a regional rehearsal should also be able to attend a rehearsal with the current Apache Belles on Sept. 16 in Tyler.
