First Baptist to host 2nd annual block party

With school bells ringing in the not so distant future, First Baptist Church of Whitehouse invites young and old to come for the second annual Community Block Party on Sunday, Aug. 19 from 5-9 p.m.

Free food, school supply giveaways and inflatable water slides are just a few of the activities in store Sunday night. The church's lawn will be filled with lots of fun for the kids and great music for all.

Along with country and bluegrass music, special guests Wilcox and Pardoe and Luminate will perform throughout the event.
