Everett V. Chase

Everett V. Chase, 65, of Whitehouse passed away on Aug. 7, 2007 after a long battle with health problems. Formerly of Beloit, Wis., he moved to Whitehouse in 1992.

He is survived by three sons, Wesley E. Chase and wife Shannon, Tyler, Erik W. Chase and wife Kristi, San Marcos, and Jason L. Chase, Dallas; and close friend and companion, Gina Chase- Loveless, Springfield, Mo.

Everett came from a large family and is survived by sisters Frances I. Chase-Simplot, Beloit, Wis., Millie Turkel, Palmdale, Calif., and Phillis Kosher and husband Don, Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents Gedion and Iola Chase; daughter Betty Jo Chase; brothers Edward Mitchell, Kenneth D. Mitchell and Franklin G. Chase; and sister Betty L. Grub.

Everett was a wonderful father, brother and friend. He was born in Albany, Wis., on Aug. 21, 1941 and was active in the R.O.T.C. He married Gina Fernicola on Aug. 21, 1978 in Dallas.

Everett worked for Otis Engineering in Carrollton from 1976 before transferring with the company to Houston in 1980 where he continued his work until he retired due to health problems in 1987.

He will be forever missed by his family, but always in their hearts.

His wish was to be cremated and brought home to his family in Wisconsin. Services there will take place at a later date.
