BACK TO SCHOOL GOODIE BAG

An excited youngster is eager to show off the bag of school supplies he received at Saturday's Back to School Bash in Troup. Sponsored by Lighthouse of Prayer Church, the first-time event offered free school supplies for all age groups, along with a Career Day program and motivational speakers. In addition to the school supplies, all those attending were treated to a free lunch. Other sponsors were Brookshires, Wal-Mart, Albertsons and Chick-Fil-A. Career Day speakers included Pastor Willie Lacy, Troup Banking Center's Bill Lacy and Troup Volunteer Fire Department's David LaMotte. See related photos page 6B.
