Library gears up for book sale

Tickets go on sale Tuesday for the sneak preview event of the Whitehouse Community Library's Great Big Book Sale.

The sale, set for Sept. 21-22, offers collectable books, current best sellers, videos, children's books and miscellaneous items.

The preview event, on Thursday, Sept. 20, will be a special preview night for those who wish to have the first choice of books before they are picked over. Books will be sold by the inch and not a set price per book on this night only. This will allow those who preview a chance to acquire books at a very low cost. Light refreshments will be served and an admission fee of $5 a person will be required. The preview event will be from 6-9 p.m. Reserve your preview ticket by calling the Library at 903-839-2949.
