Junior class cookbook project seeks more recipes, stories

Great cooks and story-tellers, it's time to share your talent!

The junior class at Troup High School is compiling a cookbook for their fundraising project this year. The funds raised during this project will be used for their Junior-Senior Prom in the spring and their future senior activities.

The title will be "Tiger Tidbits - Food For Thought."

The cost of the books will be $10 per copy and pre-orders began Saturday, Aug. 18

Tiger fans are encouraged to send in their recipes and anecdotes as soon as possible. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 4.

Ads are also available for Tiger fans. Look for books to go on sale at Homecoming, Friday, Oct. 5.

The response has been great, according to Pam Starkey, junior class sponsor. But they can always use more recipes, stories and ads.
