With stops to check class lists, backpacks full of new supplies and one more adjustment to the hair, students made their back to classrooms across the area this week. Whitehouse ISD had more than 4,300 students reporting for class the first day of the 2007-2008 school year. Kindergarten through 12th grade continues to grow by leaps and bonds in the district.
