Helen M. Warren Bivens

Services for Helen M. Warren Bivens, 78, of Whitehouse were held Sept. 2 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Don Stanley officiating.

Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Bivens died Aug. 30, 2007 in Whitehouse.

She was born Aug. 26, 1929 in Whitehouse to Everette Clarence and Dovie Mable Guffy Warren. She had lived in the Tyler area most of her life, having briefly lived in Mesquite. She attended Tyler Commercial College and was a retired respiratory therapist, working for the East Texas Chest Hospital and Nan Travis Hospital in Jacksonville. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Bivens.

Survivors are son, Dan Hayes, Whitehouse; brother, Everette Charles Warren, Whitehouse; sisters, Dovie Lou Culpepper and Laura Jean Culpepper, both of Whitehouse; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were David Culpepper, Michael Culpepper, Danny Hayes, Craig Hayes, Howard Rose and Charles Warren.
