The campus has received Recognized status three times in a row and is the only three-time Recognized middle school in Smith County. Banners were presented at halftime of Troup's football game Friday to all campus principals, as well as Supt. Marvin Beaty. Troup ISD is one of two Recognized districts in Smith County and the only district with all Recognized campuses.
