First Assembly of God's Family Fall Fest

First Assembly of God's Family Fall Fest was a success, according to Pastor Michael Fleming. The first-time event attracted more than 600 attendees for various games, rides, a petting zoo, pie contest, and classic car, truck and bike show. Fleming said the church hopes to have an even bigger, better event next year.
Winners of the pie contest were Teresa Burris, coconut cream; Evelyn Tomlin, pecan; and Wynell Pettey, heavenly pie. Trudy Adams won mostoriginal for her blueberry banana, and Jeanelle Richardson received best presentation for a peach rhubarb.
