Carolyn "Sue" Mahmood

NEW CHAPEL HILL - Services for Carolyn "Sue" Mahmood, 58, of New Chapel Hill were held Sept. 18 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler, with the Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial was in Williams Cemetery.

Mrs. Mahmood died Sept. 15, 2007 at a Tyler hospice.

She was born Aug. 11, 1949 in Tyler to the late William and Margie Ruth Dykes. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Arshad Mahmood, New Chapel Hill; daughters, Tammy Rogers, Whitehouse, Tonja Britton and Teresa Sylvester, both of Tyler; brother, Johnnie Dykes, Red Springs; four grandchildren; two nieces; and cousins.

Pallbearers were Robert Segroves, Sam Cavazos, Jackie Harris, Clarence Harris, Larry Golden and Scott Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Frances Dykes, Colby Rogers, Shelby Rogers, Kendra Britton and Wyatt Britton.
