Mary Elizabeth Allen Chambers

Mary Elizabeth Allen Chambers, 86, of Whitehouse died Sept. 12, 2007 in a Whitehouse nursing home. No services are planned; local arrangements are with Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Bullard.

Burial was in Blakely Cemetery, Blakely, Ga., on Sept. 15 under direction of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chambers was born Oct. 2, 1920 in Damascus, Ga., and lived in Havana, Fla., prior to moving to Whitehouse in 2003. She retired from the State of Florida and was a Baptist and a 20-year member of Florida Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Republic.

Survivors include daughter, Martha Allen, Tyler; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
