Lady Tigers down Raiders

Troup's Lady Tigers handily defeated West Rusk in just three games last Tuesday, improving their district record to 2-0.

With nine kills, three digs and one block, senior Janna Ross led the Lady Tigers to victory, with game scores of 25-13, 26-24 and 25-12. Niecy Stewart added four kills, one dig and one block.

Christina Cline received credit for 42 of her team's 42 assists.

Valerie York and Lauren Worl both contributed seven digs, with Worl also adding two blocks and one service ace.

Alex Collins finished with two kills and two digs.
