TMS girls drop Timpson

Troup's eighth grade volleyball teams and seventh grade team all came away with wins Monday over Timpson.

In the eighth grade "A" game, the Lady Tigers won 25- 14, 25-15, with Allie Bowers listed as player of the game.

The "B" team was led by Cassie Mason and won a close match, 25-22, 25-23.

In the seventh grade contest, Troup lost the first game, 19-25, but came back 25-19, 25-15 to claim the match.

Carisma McCowin earned the player of the game nod by TMS coaches.
