Parkinsonians of East Texas meeting

Parkinsonians of East Texas will meet Thursday, Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. at East Texas Medical Center Pavilion, 801 Clinic Dr., Tyler. The speaker will be Mark Sullivan of Good's Pharmacy. His topic will be comparing over-the-counter drugs with prescription drugs for Parkinson patients. Parking is free for the meeting.

The Whitehouse Library Board will meet Monday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. at the library.

Rotary to host blood drive

The Troup Rotary is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 3-8 p.m., at the 1st United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Eat well before donating and bring your driver's license. Contact Gene Whitsell at 903-842-4982.

Game Time for Senior Citizens will be Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 1-3 p.m. at the Troup library. All senior citizens are welcome to attend.

The semi-annual Clean Whitehouse Day will be Saturday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Recycle Center on Railroad Avenue. Please, no wet paint, household trash, batteries or yard waste.
