Benefit concert Sunday

Friends of Mark Garton, who is in a coma and is suffering from severe brain damage from a motorcycle wreck, are doing what they can to help out their friend in need.

On Sunday, Sept. 30, 11 bands are on tap to play in the Whitehouse City Park. Bands are scheduled to play from noon until 11 p.m.

Those listed to provide entertainment are Piece, Something Blue, Miranda Day, Sunset Veil, The Imaginary Band, Fall of Man, Set Adrift, Nu Tatoo, Teazur, Hinge Bound and Magdelene.

Donations will be accepted and appreciated with all proceeds going to Garton's family to help with medical expenses.
