James Paul Dickson

Services for James Paul Dickson, 58, of Tyler were held Sept. 26 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, Tyler, with the Rev. Randal Brown officiating.

Burial was in Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mr. Dickson died Sept. 23, 2007 in a Marshall hospital.

He was born June 15, 1949 in Tyler. He grew up in Whitehouse and was a graduate of Whitehouse High School and Tyler Junior College. He served in the Navy and retired from Kelly-Springfield Tire Co.

He was preceded in death by his father, H.L. Dickson.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Dickson, Tyler; sons, Keenan Dickson and Kinsey Dickson, both of Tyler, Jeremy Hubbard, Austin; daughters, Celeste David and Alisha Watson, both of Whitehouse, Ashley Leurs, Fort Campbell, Ky., and Laurel Harvey, Tyler; mother, Louise Dickson, Whitehouse; sisters, Kleta Hearon and Shelley Crow, both of Whitehouse; six grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; and one uncle.
