Aggie Faye Lydia-Brown

Services for Aggie Faye "Toot" Lydia-Brown, 51, of Troup were held Sept. 23 at Freedom of Praise Ministry with Bishop Larry Joe Hollis officiating.

Burial was in Liberty Community Cemetery under direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mrs. Brown died Sept. 17, 2007 in Tyler.

She was born April 26, 1956 in Troup to the late Alvin and Willie Mae Williams Lydia.

She attended Troup Elementary School and Arp High School. She was a member of Freedom of Praise Ministry and worked as a machine operator.

She was preceded in death by Elroy Lydia, and sisters, Bennie Smith and Francis Lydia.

Survivors include her husband, Austin Brown, Troup; sons, Marlon D. Lydia and Jerome Lydia, both of Troup; stepsons, Greggorey Brown and Douglas Brown, both of Henderson; stepdaughters, LaWanda Medford and Skeeka Brown, both of Henderson; brothers, Roy Lydia, Alvin Lydia Jr., Gerry Lydia, Jonathan Lydia, Travis Lydia, all of Troup; sisters, Celina Jessie, Janie Austin, Kathy Herndon, Alene Hart and Darlene Lydia, all of Troup; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Reggie King, Anthony Jones, Ricky Hart, Nathan Robertson, Jerome Hawkins and Jearl Wayne Willis. Nephews served as honorary pallbearers.
