      First Baptist Church of Whitehouse welcomes Matt and Megan Magill to its 8:30 and 11 a.m. services on Sunday, Oct. 7. The Magills will present the story of their renewal, "The Sting and the Honey," a personal memoir of their victory over the temptations of this world.

      Bascom United Methodist Church continues in the celebration of its 150th anniversary with special services on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 10-11. The preaching on both nights will begin at 7 p.m and be led by former pastors. There will be a light supper starting at 6 each night.
